In 1999, a group of Uptilt engineers and salespeople formed a sales force automation solution search committee to find an easy-to-use contact management solution with a lead tracking system and simple forecasting engine. After reviewing seemingly hundreds of solutions, ranging from inexpensive but lackluster software targeted for small organizations under ten people to million-dollar CRM packages, the committee concluded that a cost-effective, flexible solution with the functionality and scalability Uptilt needed did not exist. The Uptilt team concluded that building its own sales force automation solution would be the best way to move forward.
Initially, the focus was to build a sales force automation solution that was friendly to both sales managers and sales reps. Our committee knew this was a complex challenge as they would need to create a functional, scalable, easy-to-use solution that would be widely accepted in a short period of time. Over the next three years, our engineers and sales team worked closely together to strategically build out and refine SalesCenter.

could be easily adapted to any sales organization, there was
an apparent opportunity to provide a new type of sales force
automation solution the market did not currently offer.
SalesCenter will continue to further develop its sales force automation solution and product lines to expand its capabilities not only in sales, but also in marketing and support.
Today, the SalesCenter solution is customizable, configurable, scalable and cost-effective, custom tailored to your sales environment while giving rapid return on investment.
